Valley Lumber & Rental is now hiring full-time, year-round yard associates. This position is familiar with all building materials available in the yard, including their location, different grades and proper handling techniques. The yard associate assists and communicates with customers about their purchases in addition to safely and responsibly moving materials around the yard.
Knowledge/Requirements
- Knowledge of lumber and building materials a plus
- Capable of lifting up to 75 lbs. at times
- Must be willing to work on Saturdays
- Must have valid/clean driver’s license. CDL a plus
- Forklift experience a plus
- Sound math skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
